MOTEL

This is where you’ll be staying – a cheap motel. The rooms have a single bed, a bathroom, and a small trunk for any objects and clothing you may have. In the trunk there’s a military uniform especially made for you. A small debit card has been made available to you, filled with a seemingly infinite amount of money, for use anywhere in the town you want. The room assignments are
here.
As of
April 4th, there is a self-made
mural on one of the lobby walls.
PARK

The quiet beauty of nature. This idyllic park has benches and lots of trees. There’s also a large pond. Sometimes there are ducks swimming around. In the nights there are a lot of stars in the sky.
LODGE

The Sergeant’s residence and headquarters. A large building that looks more like a fortress than anything else. You can only enter the lobby, where the Sergeant always awaits for you.
DINER

A nice and clean diner, with a large parking lot. Good food, homely atmosphere. There’s a jukebox in a corner, and several LED signs with phrases like ‘GOOD EATING!’ and ‘THE BEST ORANGE JUICE IN THE COUNTY!’ The owner of the diner likes having you around! On
May 2nd the diner burned down.
GAS STATION

Why would you need a gas station if you don’t have a car? To obtain convenient supplies such as cigarettes, duct tape, rope and other similar objects that can’t seem to be obtained anywhere else. Don’t smoke near the gas pumps, please.
TAVERN

A bar managed by someone who looks like he couldn’t care less about you or what you do in here as long as you don’t make much of a mess. There’s a billiards table, shelves filled with liquor, and a large darts board. If you ask, the owner can get the mechanical bull out for you to use.
JUNKYARD

A large yard, filled with piles and piles of junk and scrap. Everything is coated with a reddish layer of rust, of a kind that can’t be found anywhere else in the town. You can find pretty much anything you want that is made of metal. There seem to be a few knives buried in every pile, why do people throw away so many knives.
HUNTING SHOP

A shop for all your hunting needs. Rifles, ammunition, crossbows, bear traps...anything that’s related to hunting and outdoor survival can be found in here. It’s pretty much a treasure trove of weapons! There's also a small shooting range on the back, with a couple archery range targets
POLICE STATION

A two-story building with a large sign that reads ‘CARTESIO POLICE’. Everyone inside seems particularly disinterested in being of help...to you, that is. There are jail cells in the basement. There’s also a large empty room, divided with extraordinarily sturdy glass and with an electric chair in a corner – an execution room, in other words.
ABANDONED BUILDING

A derelict building that looks like it’s going to fall apart at any moment. The inside is empty, the floor tiles are cracked. The walls and floors on the second floor show fire damage, a large steel door blocks the way further into the building. There's an abandoned sign in a corner: 'CARTESIO ELECTRONICS'. Curiously, everything looks like it has been abandoned for ages.
COURTROOM

The place where trials are held. Unavailable except when there’s a trial.
CASINO

For all your gambling needs! There’s all sorts of games in here, and a notable collection of slots machines.
FIRE STATION

The workplace of all firemen in Cartesio. A three-story building with a garage that’s always open. There’s always a firetruck parked there. Since
April 23rd one of the walls has a hole in it.
CLINIC

A small hospital, fit for most of the illnesses and injuries you may have during your stay in Cartesio. Contrary to most places in the town, almost everyone in the clinic are willing to deal with you. There’s a lack of security, since you can walk around freely inside. There’s a pharmacy inside, with all sorts of medicines, powders and poisons
GRAVEYARD

A barren place, with many tombstones in it. The sky always is overcast over the graveyard, for some reason. There’s a large mausoleum in the center, it’s locked. Since
April 24th one of the windows is shattered.
ICE CREAM PARLOR

a small ice cream parlor, painted with pastel colors. There’s so much variety of ice cream it’s almost dizzying.
CHAPEL

A long, white chapel, with bells that toll every hour. There’s a religious statue at the end, so large it’s imposing. As of
April 20th, the chapel is closed for renovations. You can enter, everything looks like a construction zone inside
ABANDONED BUILDING #2

A derelict building that looks like it’s going to fall apart at any moment. The floor tiles are cracked, the walls are dirty. Weird.
It's a clothing store. All of its merchandise is free and available for taking
BAKERY

There’s bread, there’s cake, there’s muffins. Somehow, everything seems to have a rather nostalgic flavor, reminding you of your home.
CINEMA

An old-time cinema, with two viewing rooms. All movies seem to be rather old. While the viewing rooms are empty most of the time, the popcorn is pretty good. The carpets crunch and feel sticky, due to the tourists' actions. There's still an arrow stuck to one of the screens
HARDWARE STORE

A store that specializes in wood and carpentry tools. Whittling and carving tools are also available. There’s also plastic pipes, wires, and a lot of other objects that are usually used for household repairing. They don’t seem to have any power tools.
ABANDONED BUILDING #3

A derelict building that looks like it’s going to fall apart at any moment. The floor tiles are cracked, the walls used to be dirty. Weird.
It's a community kitchen and as of
April 23rd it has been deep-cleaned, thanks to character efforts. The building is still looking very unstable though.
BOWLING ALLEY

A rather nice bowling alley. Everything is clean and working perfectly. The storages where bowling balls and pins are stored are very easy to sneak into.
FLOWER SHOP

A shop for all your botany needs. Not only there’s everything you may need to start and take care of a garden, there’s also a large greenhouse you can explore. There’s all sorts of plants there, although the amount of venus fly traps is disquieting.
ABANDONED BUILDING #4

A derelict building that looks like it’s going to fall apart at any moment. The floor tiles are cracked, the walls are dirty.
It's a beauty salon. There all kinds of hairdressing tools and very sharp scissors here. There's also lots of hair products, dyes, and makeup
ABANDONED ICE RINK

A large building that seems to haven’t been used for a long time. There’s graffiti inside. The central stage is full of dirt and debris, but the machines, the Zamboni and all the skates are in good condition. If you make the ice, you can use the rink anytime you want.
LIBRARY

A small library, filled with dusty books. It has a few books that may seem familiar to you -- they're from your world. How they got to this town in the middle of nowhere is a mystery.
RECORDS AND VIDEO STORE

A store with lots of vinyl and CDs. For some reason, all the music is rather old. There’s also portable radios, boomboxes and gramophones. On the video section, old movies fill the shelves, and VCR, VHS and other old video devices are piled in a corner. There's even a couple videocameras to buy.
REFINERY

A large and noisy factory. There’s always a lot of people in there, and the air is filled with the acrid smell of petroleum. There’s a small pond nearby, but judging by the pipes throwing sludge into it, you may want to avoid touching the water.
HANGAR

A building with cars and a couple planes. There are also metalworking supplies and power tools. All the vehicles are missing their engines.
